Wallace Beaudry

Wallace "Wally" J. Beaudry, age 69, of Elkhart Lake passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 21, 2018 surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Wally was born in Sheboygan on October 12, 1949 to the late Harvey and Caroline (Sinner) Beaudry. He attended local schools and graduated from North High School class of ‘67. He enjoyed working in the family business.

In November of 1972 Wally married Janet Sohn and they had two sons. Wally worked at Sohn Manufacturing and eventually acquired ownership of the small store front printing business, developing it into a thriving international success. In 1978 he designed and built the existing plant in Elkhart Lake and due to the expansion of the company, Wally had to make an addition to the building in 1982. Wally spent the better part of his life dedicating himself to both the business and his loyal employees. Its Wally's intention and planning that will allow Sohn Manufacturing to continue his legacy into the future.

Wally enjoyed spending time fishing in Canada where he met Kristi (Erdmenger) and that is when they started their adventurous 30 plus years together. They enjoyed working together, traveling and visiting with friends. On April 27th 2013 they exchanged vows in front of friends and family at the Blue Dog Saloon in Keelocko, AZ followed by a celebration at their beloved AMVETS Post 770 in Tucson, AZ. Wally and Kristi also enjoyed their winters in Tucson, summers at their Canadian home on the lake, their weekends in Pembine, and the occasional trip to their Irish home. Wally always found time to socialize with his friends. His sense of humor will be greatly missed by all.

Wally is survived by his loving wife Kristi; two brothers Robert (Darlene) Beaudry and Wayne (Marilyn) Beaudry and one sister Diane. Other family and friends further survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Funeral Service for Wally will be at 6:00 PM on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd., Sheboygan, with Pastor DuWayne Hanke officiating. Family will greet visitors on Monday, at the funeral home, from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM. Entombment will take place Tuesday October 30, 2018 at Greenlawn Memorial Park at the Chapel of Eternal Light at 1:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life at Three Guys and A Grill East Elkhart Lake beginning at 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Wally's name.

The family would like to personally thank Dr. Nirav Shah and his team for the amazing care given to Wally. They would also like to thank the nurses and staff at Froedtert Hospital, 7 CFAC. As well as the staff of Sharon Richardson Hospice.
