Thomas "Tom" C. Neuman

Thomas “Tom” Carl Neuman, age 74, of Howards Grove passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Tom was born on October 8, 1950 to Hugo and Elsie (Pozenel) Neuman in Sheboygan. He attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Sheboygan and was confirmed April 11, 1965. Tom graduated from North High School in Sheboygan in 1969. He was united in marriage to Mary Lou Limberg on November 16, 1974 at Community United Church of Christ Elkhart Lake. Tom did factory work and maintenance before retiring in 2015. Tom was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Plymouth. He had a strong faith and enjoyed going to bible study on Thursdays. Tom also enjoyed camping, polka dancing, and taking care of cars and trucks. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and attending his grandson’s sporting events.

Tom is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Mary Lou Neuman of Howards Grove; children, Kelly (Collin) Arvey of Shawano, Kari (Tim) LaPean of Sheboygan, and Kevin (Brooke) of Elmwood; sister, Linda (Paul) Randall of Oconomowoc; grandchildren, Elliott Arvey, Marshall Arvey, Maverick LaPean, and Wyatt LaPean; brothers in law, Wayne (Laurie), Jerome (Barb), and James (Jean) Limberg. He was preceded in death by his infant brother; parents; parents in law, Fred and Caroline Limberg.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 14, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove. Pastor John Schultz will officiate and burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Howards Grove. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Plymouth and to Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove.
