Thomas Palmer Siebert died peacefully May 5, 2023 at the age of 79.
Tom is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nan (Garton) Siebert; dogs Bert and Ernie (The Regal Beagle); children Jen Siebert, Ben Siebert (Bridget), Flossie Siebert (John) and Tiffany Gant; grandchildren Mary, Charlie, Sabrina, Bo, Buck, Sadie, Frida, Jack, Kalob, Victoria, Alliya, and Alex; and sister, Karen Shymkus.
Tom was born on May 26, 1943 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Palmer and Ione Siebert. He graduated from Marquette University in 1968 with a degree in Dentistry. He married Nan, his high school sweetheart, in 1965. After moving to Sheboygan, Tom began his career in dentistry.
Tom had a deep respect and love for nature and wildlife. His passion for fishing took him from his secret spots in Sheboygan County all the way to his favorite rivers in Montana and beyond. In the fall, he could be found bowhunting and taking his annual duck hunting trip to The Pas, Manitoba, with his best friend Walter Vollrath, a tradition that lasted many years.
Tom’s love of nature was only surpassed by his love for Nan: serenading her with songs of love while playing his guitar, travelling to remote tropical locations, spending quiet nights together reading, and enjoying the home they built together in Elkhart Lake.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Lakeshore Trout Unlimited; lakeshoretu.com. or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice; ssrhospicehome.org.
To respect Tom’s wishes no services will be held.
