Thomas Morse

Thomas "Sam" L. Morse, age 85, of Sheboygan passed away on Friday, October 05, 2018 at Countryside Manor where he had been a resident for the last 9 years.
Thomas was born in the Town of Mitchell on October 13, 1932 to the late Donald and Alice (Kiernan) Morse. He attended Plymouth public schools. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as soldier in Company H in the 130th Infantry Regiment. On June 7, 1958 Thomas married Joan Webb.
In 1962, Thomas started his own business Morse Landscaping in Sheboygan. He had a strong work ethic and made many loyal customers. Thomas enjoyed playing cards with his friends, drinking old fashions and going to the casino.
Thomas is survived by his ex-wife, Joan and their three children, David (Janice) Morse, Linda (Dave) Meyer and Robert (Kris) Morse; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a sister Mary (Bill) Kohlhagen. Other family and friends further survive.
He was preceded in death by a sister Ann Abston.
A Memorial Service for Thomas will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd. in Sheboygan. The family will greet visitors on Saturday from 3:00 PM until the time of the service at 5:00 PM. Military honors to follow the service.
The family would like to thank the staff at both Countryside Manor and Aurora at Home Hospice for their amazing care given to Dad.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions made in Thomas's name to the Alzheimer's Association of Sheboygan.
