Scott Arthur Schwinn, age 51, of Julian, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024. Born on November 18, 1972, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Scott was the son of Leonard Schwinn and the late Bergetta (Henning) Schwinn.

Scott graduated from Howards Grove High School in 1992 and pursued a Bible degree at Cedarville College in Ohio, where he met the love of his life, Cinnamon Bierly. The two were married in 1994, beginning a life of love, faith, and dedication to their family and community.

After completing college, Scott and Cinnamon returned to Sheboygan, where Scott worked for Campus Life, sharing his faith and connecting with youth. He later moved his family to Colorado to plant a church, a testament to his deep commitment to serving others. Over the years, Scott also owned and operated various businesses in Colorado, where his work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly.

In recent years, Scott and his family relocated to Julian, Pennsylvania. No matter where he lived, Scott was known for his kindness, infectious smile, and unwavering love for those around him. His outgoing nature and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Scott’s life was marked by resilience and strength, as he courageously faced numerous health challenges without losing his joy or faith. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 30 years, Cinnamon, and their six children: Autumn (Brad) Jesteadt of Colorado, Hunter of Colorado, Forrest of Pennsylvania, Canyon of Pennsylvania, Aspen, and Summit, who remain at home.

Scott is also survived by his father, Leonard Schwinn of Wisconsin; his siblings, Corey (Heidi) Schwinn of Maine and Lana (Paul) Abbott of Oregon; his father- and mother-in-law, Jon and Candy Bierly of Pennsylvania; sisters-in-law Almeda (Matt) Hintz of Ohio and Becky (Victoria) Bierly of Pennsylvania; brother-in-law Nathan (Lia) Bierly of Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bergetta Schwinn; his niece, Shaylee Abbott; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Scott’s life will be celebrated at a later date, where his family and friends will come together to honor the extraordinary man he was—a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to causes close to Scott’s heart or acts of kindness in his memory, reflecting his generous and caring spirit.
