Ronald Nyhuis

Ronald "Rufus" R. Nyhuis, 61, of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Ronald was born July 17, 1955, in Sheboygan, to the late William and Judith (Hackbarth) Nyhuis. He graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1973. Ronald was employed by the Kohler company, where he worked as a foreman for 40 years. On June 4, 1977, he married the love of his life, Cathy Diener, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sheboygan. Ronald was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was always looking out for them, putting others before himself. He always looked forward to road trips with his wife, Cathy. Ronald was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.
In addition to his wife of nearly 40 years, Cathy, he is survived by three sons, David Nyhuis, Waukesha, Timothy Nyhuis, Sheboygan and Brian (Carley) Nyhuis, Port Washington; one granddaughter, Alana Nyhuis. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Ronald will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. at Zimmer's Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove) with the Rev.
