Ronald Edler

Ronald A. Edler, age 64, of Howards Grove, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, May 8, 2017. He was born in Sheboygan on August 22, 1952, a son of Arthur and Delilah Mae (Kuester) Edler. Ron was a 1971 graduate of Sheboygan North High School, and was a US Navy Sea Bee during the Viet -Nam war. He was employed at E&K Hauling, Larry's Hauling and later at the Sheboygan Scrap Metal Company until his retirement in 2009.

Ron was married to the former Sheila Drewel on July 17, 2008 in Florence, Wisconsin. An avid outdoorsman, Ron simply loved nature, being in the woods, camping, fishing and hunting.

Surviving Ron is his loving wife Sheila, a son, Lonny of Sheboygan, two daughters; Michelle Edler (Special Friend Erick Mayer) of Howards Grove and Kymberlee (Fiancé Chris Schroeder) Edler of Sheboygan, two grandchildren; Myles Roitt-Edler and Andrew Schroeder, his father, Arthur Edler (Special friend Jean Koffel) of Howards Grove, two sisters; Charlene Ann Zimmerman, of Zeeland, Michigan and Sandra (Doug) Perronne of Rock Hill, So. Carolina, two step-sons; Ian Good of Halifax England and Glen Good of Diss Norfolk , England, and a step-daughter Adele Stich, a sister-in-law; Chirstine (Albert) Thornton and a brother-in-law; John Forrest, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delilah Mae Edler and a brother-in-law, Ron Zimmerman.

A gathering and time of remembrance will be held on Saturday May 13, 2017 at Zimmer's Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Road, Sheboygan where family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m until 1:00 p.m.

A memorial fund has been established in the name of Ronald A. Edler.
