Roger Boy

Roger D. Boy, 67, of Sheboygan passed away, July 6, 2016 at Holy Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc, surrounded by his loving wife and children. Roger was born July 29, 1948 to Harold and Lona(Becker) Boy in Berlin, WI. He attended Neshkoro School K through 8th grade and attended Westfield High School with the class of 1966. After High School Roger entered the Army and served his country for 2 years. Upon completion of his military duty he came to the Sheboygan area to start working at Die Cast in Sheboygan Falls. He then went to Bemis Mfg. for the next 43 years where he continued to work until his retirement in 2011. He was a member of the Freidrichs-Mueller-Norgard American Legion Post 149. He married the love of his life Sue Huibregste on October 15, 1976 in Sheboygan, WI. They would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this year. Roger would fix anything for anyone and if it couldn't be done right he would 'Roger Rig It', so you could still use it. He loved tinkering in his garage especially on his cars and around the house. His greatest joy was his grandchildren; Mady, Ella, Peyton, and Ty. Trips to Bay Beach, Bookworm Gardens, and McDonalds were always on the list. Going to fairs and picnics to do pony rides, tilt a whirls, and bumper cars was always a priority. The grandson's baseball and football games were always a joy. Roger is survived by his wife Sue; daughter, Jennifer, sons, Mark and Michael (fianc�e Bridget); four grandchildren, Mady, Ella, Peyton, and Ty; three brothers, Ron(Delores), Duane (Rachel) and Randy (Ann). He is further survived by his extended family, aunts and uncles; Donald Becker, Arlene Becker, Carolyn (John) Brzezinski, Butch (Julie) Becker; brothers and sisters-in-law; Tom Huibregtse, Dick (Gail) Huibregtse, Joyce (Myron) Praeger, Jane Huibregtse, Kay (Mike) Braun, Peter Huibregtse; nieces and nephews; Rhonda, Robby, Denisa, Levi, Jill, Jason (Amanda), Gina (Clint), Joel (Ashley), Blake, Carly, Shelly (Dave), Kristy, Rachel, Brendan, and Nicole (Robert); great nieces and nephews; Zach, Jed, Damon, Macy, Avery, Charlie and Brody. Special family friends Mary Wisniewski Huibregtse and Brett Egelseer and many extended family and friends too numerous to mention. Roger was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Lona (Becker) Boy and his parents-in-law, Roland and Carolyn (Carpenter) Huibregtse. A time of visitation and support will be held at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd. (Hwy 42 and JJ) on Thursday, July 14 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Memorial Service at 5:00 PM with Rev. Todd Smith presiding. The family would like to thank the Emergency Responders, the Guenther Family, Holy Family Memorial Hospital and staff, especially Kristen and Tom. Memorial Funds have been established in Roger's name for Bookworm Gardens and the Freidrichs-Mueller-Norgard American Legion Post 149 Sheboygan Falls.
