Peter Glaser

Peter Norman Glaser, 73, of Ada, died peacefully at his home Thursday morning, April 6, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born April 1, 1944 in Sheboygan to Norman and Mabel (Steinhardt) Glaser.
On June 24, 1961, he married Kathleen Heusterberg at Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove.
Peter worked at Kohler Co. for 43 years, most of this time was in the Engine Division. He was a member of Kohler's Quarter Century Club, and a lifetime member of St. John's UCC Schwarzwald. He and his family spent a great deal of time camping both locally and up north. Peter also enjoyed many years of playing softball, as well as fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years. Two daughters, Vicki (Juinor) Ritchie of Sheboygan, Terri (Glenn) Grunwald of Cleveland, and one son, Eric (Diane) Glaser of Osman. Six grandchildren, Sara (Pete) Christy, Mark Grunwald, Zachary Glaser (Special Friend Kelsey Stefanczyk), Kelsey Glaser, Alexandra Ritchie (Special Friend Dan Campion), and Asha Ritchie. Great-grandchildren Logan, Jackson, Autumn, and Serena Christy. He is further survived by two sisters, Gail Beaudoin and Sue Bitter and a brother- and sister-in-law, Donald (Geri) Heusterberg. Preceded in death by his parents, mother and father in-law, Frederick and Esther Heusterberg, two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Bitter and Richard Heusterberg.

Private family funeral services will be held at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center. Rev. Melinda Feller of St. John's UCC of Schwarzwald will preside. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Peter's name.
The family also wishes to thank the home hospice support of the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. They provided piece of mind during a difficult time.
