Patricia Ann Mary Schemenauer

Patricia Ann Mary Schemenauer, 81, of Oostburg, formerly of Cedarburg and Jackson, WI, passed away on June 25, 2023 surrounded by family. Born on March 28, 1942 to the late William and Nellie (Skoine) Weis in Spencer, WI. Patricia was raised in Spencer having graduated from Spencer High School. She later went on to the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.

Patricia united in marriage to Elmer Schemenauer on April 28, 1962. Both are faithful members of Ss. Cyril and Methodius. She was a member of Knights of Columbus #722 Women’s Auxiliary for many years.

Cross stitching, going to musicals, camping and traveling were all things Patricia enjoyed. But most importantly she enjoyed quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband; children, Teresa Jo (David) Weber, Timothy (Laurie) Schemenauer, Lisa (Alan) Kropelin and Lynn (Dean) Zettler; grandchildren Kirsten (Cole) Guy, Kayliann Weber, Brady (Bekah) Schemenauer, Abigail Schemenauer, Charlotte Miller, Alexandia Kropelin, George Kropelin, Regina Kropelin, Quentin Zettler, Josephine (fiancé Brock) Zettler and Samuel Zettler; great-granddaughter Kalia Jo; sister-in-law Nancy Weis; many nieces and nephews and dear friends Marjorie Hinrichsen, Darlene LaMack and Althea Vervelde.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Edward (JoAnn) Weis, Donald (Marjorie) Weis, Rapheal Weis, VirJean (Wilbur) Mellenthin, Vernal (Carol) Weis and Rosemary (William) Gamble and sister-in-law Eleanor "Toots" Griese.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patricia’s memory can be made to Ss. Cyril and Methodius.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 12:00PM at Saint Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 822 New Jersey Avenue, Sheboygan. The family will greet visitors at the CHURCH on Wednesday, from 10:00AM – 12:00PM. Father Fr. Paul Fliss is officiating.
