Michael Mech

Michael J. Mech, 58, of Valders, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at his home.
Mike was born August 23, 1959 in Merrill to James and Darlene (Krause) Mech. He was a graduate of Sheboygan South High School and went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
On September 19, 1981 he was united in marriage to Suzanne Riddle in Brookfield. Mike was a Financial Advisor and owned Mech Financial Services.
Family was very important to Mike; his children and grandchildren were the light of his life. When he wasn't spending time with them you could find him golfing, restoring old bikes and antique cars, or out looking for things to add to his many collections. Mike had a great sense of humor and a Heart of Gold. He also enjoyed singing and dancing.
Mike is survived by his mother Darlene Mech, wife Suzanne, daughters, Jessica (Chris) Burke and Michele (Gregg) Hanson, grandchildren; Miles, Riley, and Sophia Burke, Jazlynn and Davis Hanson, brothers; Greg (Lianne) Mech, Steve (Joviann) Mech, and Pastor Tim (Darlene) Mech, sister Amy (Dave) Schoenfeldt, and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father James Mech.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 5:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 Wisconsin Ave., Sheboygan with Pastor Timothy Mech and Pastor John Berg officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 2:00 PM until the time of service at the CHURCH.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Mike's name at Bookworm Gardens in Sheboygan and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
