Merrill "Butch" Miller, 69, of Kohler, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Butch was born February 12, 1949, in Sheboygan, to the late Merrill W. and Cordella (Schumann) Miller. He graduated from Kohler High School in 1968. Butch served his country in the United States Air Force for 4 years as a jet engine mechanic. On September 30, 1972, he married the former Gloria Repo in Floodwood, MN. He was employed by the Kohler Company for over 30 years.
Butch was an active member of the Sheboygan Dog Training Club for 15 years, training dogs in agility, rally and obedience. He was also an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.
In addition to his wife, Gloria, he is survived by three children, Jennifer Maresch, Sheboygan, Victoria (Pete) Meyer, Harrison, AR and Jeremy Miller, Kohler; six grandchildren, Moriah, Zoya, Troy, Trinity, Tristan and Alex; one great-grandson, Oliver, on the way; two sisters, Cheryl Prepster, Sheboygan and Mary Lee Miller, Rochester, NY. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Dave Maresch and one brother-in-law, Dennis Prepster.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Zimmer's Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove) with Rev. Robert Steele officiating, followed by full military honors. Friends may call on Thursday, at the funeral home, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
