Marilyn M. “Babe” Behnke, of Cleveland, passed away late Sunday evening on January 31, 2021, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay.
Marilyn was born to George and Celes (Endres) Wettstein. She was wed to Michael Behnke on October 14, 1987, in Las Vegas.
Marilyn was always there for her family. She was loving, and very talented in all things she was interested in. She was an accomplished woodworker and gardener. One of her favorite activities was cutting the lawn, and she could always be heard saying, “Nobody rides my lawnmower.”
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Michael J. Behnke; children, Michael A. Pfister, Kathryn A. (Roy Smith) Wolf, Chuck A. Pfister; brother, George (Ruth) Wettstein; grandchildren, Travis (Ashley) Pfister, Brooke (Joe) Guinta, Tara (Daniel) Ramirez, Zack Wolf; great-grandchildren, Kermit and Frankie Jo Pfister, Ivy Willow and Sawyer Boone Pfister, Ian, Kaleb, and Quinn Ramirez, Zack and Audrey Wolf; brother-in-law, Fred (Bonnie) Behnke; sisters-in-law, Carol (Frank) Uraynar, Mary (Roger) Breirather, and Rosie Rogge; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gary (Phyllis) and Ralph (Betty) Wettstein; one sister, Sharon “Mitzie” Post; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dorothy and Fred Behnke Sr.; and her ex-husband, John R. Pfister.
As to Marilyn’s wishes, there will be no service.
