Lynn Marie Strysick (Née Kuznacic), 70, loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and sister peacefully left this world Sunday, March 9, 2025, in the early morning hours after a valiant nearly 2-year battle with ALS. She was born on September 21, 1954 to George and Marie (Pakiz) Kuznacic in Sheboygan. Lynn graduated from Sheboygan North High School, Class of 1972. Lynn furthered her education at Lakeshore Technical College getting her dental assistant certification. She later graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay, magna cum laude, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1991.

Lynn is survived by her husband Keith; daughters: Leslie (Jeff) Ellair, Tammy (Ron) Kmiecik; and son Justin. She is further survived by her mother Marie Kuznacic; mother-in-law Delores Gibson; sisters: Judy (Ken) Beckley, Sandra (Mike) Krainz and Carol Kuznacic; and brother-in-law Dennis (Kim) Strysick. Grandchildren; Marcus, Daniel, Elizabeth, Audrey, and Eve. Many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father George Kuznacic and father-in-law Victor Gibson; brother-in-law Herman Nibbelink; and dogs Peaches and Socksy.

Lynn married Keith, her high school sweetheart in the fall of 1973 and celebrated 51 years and just over 4 months together. Lynn was a strong believer in God and was a member of St. Mark's UCC.

Lynn was an avid baker decorating wedding/birthday/baptism and other cakes, cupcakes and cookies. Cooking for the people she loved was a passion, bringing food when someone was sick and preparing large meals for family gatherings. Lynn was a talented seamstress sewing clothes and Halloween costumes over the years.

Lynn also enjoyed gardening (even weeding), harvesting the fruits and vegetables and making tomato soup and jelly. One of her favorite things was the time she spent with Keith and the grandchildren planning events and trips. They enjoyed many fun summers at Bay Beach and the Dells in particular. They would make apple cider, dried apple rings, and donuts together.

Lynn was a firm believer in Random Acts of Kindness. Making food and doing things for family, friends, coworkers and strangers who were in need was something she enjoyed doing.

Lynn asked that a special thanks be given to her many good friends on the staff of Marsho Medical/Froedert who knew her for nearly 30 years. Loving thanks to Justin and Keith for taking such good care of her during this final journey. Also special thanks to Kim, and Autumn, Joe, and the rest of the staff at Sharon Richardson for their loving support over the last few months of her life.

In Mom’s words, “I have always loved and appreciated all of you. I love you so much it’s hard to put into words.”

Cremation has taken place. A Private Family service was held. A Celebration of Lynn’s life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in her name to Sharon Richardson Hospice, ALS society, St. Paul’s Episcopal Medical Sharing Closet (Plymouth WI), St. Mark's UCC Cleveland, WI.
