Louis Florian

Louis Patrick Florian, known as Pat by all who knew and loved him, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017. He was born on January 7, 1936 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, the son of Mary Evelyn (Dunn) Florian and Louis Edward Florian.
Pat lived in Sheboygan his entire life and was well know and recognized while on his regular daily outings around town. While Pat never received any formal education, he learned all the skills necessary to actively volunteer for various organizations and community events throughout his life. He contributed his time to the Suscha's News store for years, compiling the newspapers prior to Sunday Delivery. He helped ring the bells for church services at St Cyril & Methodius Church. He was a regular presence at community events willing and able to help in any way he could. He was a constant at his favorite, the summer concert series in the Fountain Park which had been attending since they began. He was a parishioner of St. Clements Church but could be found at different services throughout town.
Proceeding him in death were his parents; brother, Conrad Florian and sister-in-law Mariam Florian; and nephew, James Florian.
He is survived by brother, Shawn Florian and sister-in-law Gail (Verstrate) Florian; nieces and nephews, Nicole (Shane) Chalmers, Brendan (Beth) Florian, Nadine (Douglas) Flack, Erin (Nicklaus) Han, Edward (Debbie) Florian, and Christopher (Elizabeth) Florian; great nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 818 Huron Ave, Sheboygan, on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Pat will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to Meals on Wheels of Sheboygan County.
