Ken was born on August 5, 1949. After a nine-month struggle with glioblastoma multiforme cancer, he passed away on Sept. 13, 2017.
He served in the US Army from 1971 to 1974. Ken earned his Master's Degree at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and worked in the social services field for Sheboygan County at the Sheboygan County Comprehensive Health Care Center and Rocky Knoll Health Care Center.
He volunteered as a local Boy Scouts of America troop committee leader and at the Mental Health Association. Twenty-four years was spent serving as a trustee on the Village of Howards Grove Board.
He is survived by his wife Ruth of 43 years, sons Matthew, Nathaniel, and Russell, and brother-in-law Lawrence (Jodi) Ginnow.
As per Ken's wishes, there will not be a funeral. Memorials are being established and include Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
The family would like to thank friends who provided transportation to medical appointments and to all the neighbors that demonstrated what a true neighborhood should be. Your acts of kindness are truly appreciated.
