Judy Strysick

August 26, 1953 — July 14, 2017

Judy Strysick, 63, of Sheboygan, formerly of Chicago, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Through all the procedures and pain she refused to give up. Judy was born August 26, 1953, in Chicago, to Esperanza Garibay and the late Jesus Martinez. She attended Catholic grade school and graduated from Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago, IL. Judy was a beautiful woman with an infectious smile that could light up a room. Throughout her life her true passion was helping others. She was as compassionate in her professional life as her personal life. Judy was employed as a CNA and worked with the elderly in Sheboygan at Morningside Health Center and Sunny Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center. Because of her exceedingly kind soul she made many friends during her journey through life. Judy will be missed by many but we all know our angel was called home to take her place amongst the other angels.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her children, Claudette Barutha, Charmaine Strysick and Bradley Strysick; grandchildren, Devin Barutha, Aliana Patino, Dylan Barutha, Ethan Barutha and Aiden Richardson; special friend, Robert Erdman; sisters, Delfina (Manuel) Rodriguez and Susan (Eddie) Slayton; brother, Jessie (Daniella) Martinez; her half-brothers, Mario Martinez her long-time companion, Brian Wheeler.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Linda and Emma Martinez.
