Joseph T. Jeanty, 33, lost his battle with addiction on Thursday, September 9, 2021, in Fond du Lac, WI. Joey left this earth accompanied by the woman he loved, Kayle Dawn Lindberg.
Joey was born in Sheboygan on November 13, 1987, to Victor and Laurie Jeanty. He graduated from Kiel High School in 2006. Joey was employed as an assembler at Oshkosh Truck.
Joey entered this world with an incredible thirst for life, always seeking adventure and inquiring about what was next. He enjoyed anything outdoors including fishing, hunting, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, mopeding, and hiking. Joey was also an avid sports fan, always following the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers.
Joey was born a leader who inspired so many people and gave the gift of friendship, support and acceptance to those he met. People were drawn to Joey, recognizing his loving heart and ability to give words of encouragement. He believed in the importance of family and treasured every family event.
Joey is survived by his parents, Victor Jeanty (Amy) and Laurie Kraemer (Kenny); brothers, Jesse Jeanty (Celina Puente) and Jadon Jeanty; maternal grandfather, Clarence (Patricia) Weigert; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Joey was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Donald and Jacqueline Jeanty, maternal grandmother, Donna Wirtz, and cousin, Christopher Kloppenburg.
A Memorial Service for Joey will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Road in Howards Grove, WI., with Rev. Judine Duerwaechter officiating. For those who would like to watch Joey's service virtually can do so on his obituary page at www.zimmerfunralhome.com. A time of celebration will take place immediately following the service at the funeral home until 4:30.
In lieu of flowers, memorials for Joey can be made to Blandine House Inc., Fond du lac, WI. Blandine House is a nonprofit community Residential Treatment home which serves adult male residents with addiction issues, where Joey found solace and acceptance during his sobriety.
The family would like to thank Sally Yeager (neighbor) for her love and care to Joey and Kayle and their beautiful goldendoodle, Kingsley.
