Jerome Julius Reinke

Jerome Julius Reinke, age 85, passed away at his home on June 11, 2024. He was born on October 11, 1938, to the late Marvin and Norma (Jacobs) Reinke in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He was a graduate of Sheboygan North high school. After high school he served in the US Navy. Jerry had a long and rewarding career at Wisconsin Public Service before his retirement. Jerry always enjoyed lending a helpful hand to anyone in need. Jerry enjoyed all aspects of the outdoors, including hunting, fishing and golfing. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family and friends.

On June 20, 1964, he married the love of his life, Judith Richter, in Sheboygan. Together, they raised two children, Julie and Joe. Jerry is survived by his wife of sixty years, Judy, and his children, Julie, (Joel) Akers and Joe Reinke. He is further survived by his grandchildren Max, Hayden, Sam and Mia, sisters-in-law, Darlene, Reinke and Sandy Reinke, and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is proceeded in death by his brothers, Jim Reinke and Jack Reinke.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Zimmer Westview Funeral Home, W2132 Garton Rd., Sheboygan, Wisconsin, with Pastor Dan Babbel officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
