Jeanne Leta Budahn, 83, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away July 12, 2016 at home. Jeanne was born January 8, 1933 to the late George and Marjorie (Lee) Masterson. She graduated from Waldo High School in 1950 and was very proud to have been selected to be a member of the state choir, where she sang at various state events. She found the love of her life, Jerry and was married June 23, 1951. The couple just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. The care of her four children consumed much of her time. After retirement, they were smitten with wanderlust and for 18 years traveled the United States in their motor home. Along with a passion for travel, she was a lover of anything art. Family and friends homes are adorned with her stained glass, quilts and watercolors. She was mother to four, grandmother to five and great-grandmother to six.
Left behind are her husband, Jerry; children Sharon (Allan) Willadsen, Jerome Budahn, Jr., Marjorie Budahn (Joe Thompson) and Debra (Robert Jr.) Ehrlich; grandchildren, Stacey (Scott) Moshier, Stephanie (Michael) Leavitt, Robert III(Erin) Ehrlich and Heather (Mike) Scheer; great grandchildren and many family and friends.
She is reunited with her grandson, Jeremy Budahn.
Private family services will be held. Please visit www.zimmerfuneralhome.com to sign the guestbook.
A memorial fund has been established in Jeanne's name to be used for the Wisconsin Talking Book & Braille Library, which was a tremendous blessing to her after she lost her eyesight to macular degeneration.
"Thank you, Mom, for showing us a life well lived."
