Henrietta R Scholten

Henrietta R. Scholten, 91, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, January 6, 2023.  She was born June 20, 1931 in Sheboygan to the late Henry and Meta (Wolters) Marquard. 

On March 24, 1956 she was united in marriage to Henry Scholten at First Evangelical Reformed Church in Green Bay.  They celebrated 36 years together. Hank preceded her in death on October 27, 1992.

Henrietta was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She loved her family especially spending time with them creating lasting and cherished memories.  She was an excellent baker, known for her Chocolate Eclairs, Pecan Rolls, and all the birthday and wedding cakes she made not only for her family, but friends as well.  Henrietta had a heart of gold, she loved and cared for everyone, and was always there when someone needed her.

Henrietta is survived by her three daughters; Lori Scholten, Ann Herzog, and Myra (Todd) Felsinger, step-son Don (Faye) Scholten, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, sisters; Annette Marquard, Nancy (Bob) Dempsey and Janice Eberhardy, sister-in-law Donna Marquardt and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Mark Scholten, sisters; Bernice (Bob) Resop, Elaine (Leroy) Patt, and Helen Altman, and brothers; Kenneth (Marlene) Marquardt, Carl Marquardt, and Jerome (Judy) Marquard.

A Celebration of Henrietta’s Life will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd. Sheboygan.
