Heidi Konz

Heidi J. Konz, 61, passed away unexpectedly on February 28, 2022, at her home.  She was born in Sheboygan on April 9, 1960, to Lloyd and Delores (Kuhlow) Wehmeier.  She graduated from Howards Grove High School.  On July 2, 1977, Heidi married Thomas Konz at St. Johns UCC in Elkhart Lake.  He preceded her in death on October 25, 2015.

She was employed at both Bemis Manufacturing and Eclipse Manufacturing for many years.  She was a member of St. Mark’s UCC.

Heidi loved feeding and watching the birds.  Overall, she enjoyed spending time with her family.  She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her son, Christopher (Brandee) Konz; grandchildren, Austin (Hailey), Katelynn, Karissa (Carlos) and Rachel; great-grandchildren, Lyliana, Lysandro, Jalina, Jonathan, and Elias; mother Delores; siblings, Mark Wehmeier, Lynn (Terry) Roehrborn and Kevin Wehmeier; brothers-in-law, Frank (Betty) Konz, Roger (Dorothy) Konz, David (Marie) Konz, John”Butch” Konz and Edward (Julie) Konz; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Heidi was preceded in death by her husband Thomas; a son Derrick Konz; father Lloyd; father and mother-in-law, John (Gertrude) Konz and a brother and sister-in-law, Danny Konz and Pat Konz.

A Memorial Service for Heidi will be held at 2PM on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Road in Howards Grove, with Pastor DuWayne Hanke officiating.  Family will greet visitors on Monday at the funeral home from NOON until the time of the service.  For those who would like to attend the service virtually can do so on the funeral home website on Heidi’s obituary page.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Heidi’s name.
