Frances Augustin

Frances Augustin (Polaretzki), 83, of Howards Grove, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 peacefully at home. Frances was born March 14, 1940, in Yugoslavia, to the late John and Barbara (Walz) Polaretzki. In 1956, Frances immigrated to the United States from Linz, Austria.

Frances owned and operated Huettenbar in Conover, WI for many years. On June 6, 1990 she united in marriage to Eugene Augustin in Sheboygan.

Frances is survived by her children Eric Amschlinger and Christine (Darryl) Remmick; grandchildren Kevin and Matthew Remmick; step-sons Russell (Susan Petri) Augustin and David (Tamaney) Augustin; two nieces Lori (David) Rock and Sharon Polaretzki and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Augustin; her parents; her brother George (Linda) Polaretzki; and her prior husband Nickolaus Amschlinger.

All services are private. Frances will be laid to rest with Eugene at Lutheran Cemetery, Sheboygan.
