Elizabeth "Betty" Koenig

Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Koenig, age 75, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Rocky Knoll Healthcare.

Betty was born on October 22, 1946, to James and Agnes (Salm) Wagner in Sheboygan, WI. She graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1964 and later attended LTC. Betty worked as a secretary at Lake to Lake Dairy for a time. Her proudest achievement was raising her two children, Steven and David.

Betty’s favorite activity was visiting with family and friends. She enjoyed filling her time with various crafting activities, card games, and bingo.

Betty is survived by her children, Steven (Kathryn) Koenig and David (Jennifer) Koenig; grandchildren, Taylor, Jonathan, Derek, and Amber; great-grandson, Mason; siblings, Bill Wagner, Mary (Harry) Hibbard, Jean (Ted) Behling; sister-in-law, Iris Wagner; aunts & uncle; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, James and Agnes Wagner; brother, Tom Wagner; sister-in-law, Karen Wagner; and other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held for Betty at 12:00 PM on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Zimmer-Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (W2132 Garton Road, Sheboygan, WI 53083). A public visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of Betty’s service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Betty’s name to Rocky Knoll Healthcare.

Betty’s family would like to thank the staff at Rocky Knoll Healthcare for the wonderful care that they have provided her over the last 18 years. They would also like to thank the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the wonderful end-of-life care they gave Betty.
