Mother
Our mother was there our whole life through.
Now she's gone to Heaven, we know it's true.
The angel with wings came down from above;
To take our sweet mother, next to our father above.
She's watching us now as we grieve and weep;
For the loss of our mother runs very deep.
Our hearts filled with sorrow, our bodies are numb;
For the loss of our mother who's now there above.
God, watch and keep us for the sake of our mother;
There is nothing as sweet as our dear mother.
-Your daughters and son
