Douglas W. Carey, 52, of Sheboygan, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 of cancer surrounded by his family at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. On August 17, 1991 he was united in marriage to Jennifer Hinze at Ebenezer UCC in Sheboygan.
Doug worked at Quantum Spatial for 12 years as a Senior Airborne Sensor Systems Operator. He loved his family and enjoyed camping at his seasonal site at Plymouth Rock Campground, walking, working out and going to the races at Road America. He enjoyed taking trips with his wife, especially to Key West. It was a place they dreamed of retiring to one day. He loved having his sons over for cook outs and family time. He also loved his truck and enjoyed having modifications done to it.
Doug is survived by his wife, Jennifer, sons, Collin and Clayton, parents, Wayne and Connie Carey, sister, Ellie (Dave) Green, father-in-law Larry Hinze, and brother-in-law Todd (Rebecca) Hinze.
