Donna Shircel

Donna M. Shircel, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at Pine Haven Christian Home in Sheboygan Falls surrounded by her family. She was 87 years old.
Donna was born May 24, 1929 in Sheboygan, the daughter of Walter and Cecelia (nee Schirmeister) Stielow. She attended Holy Name grade school, and graduated from Sheboygan North High School.
On September 25, 1949, she was united in marriage with Cyril Shircel in Lemont, IL. Cyril preceded her in death in 2011, after 62 years of marriage.
She was a dedicated and faithful member of Immaculate Conception Parish. Donna dedicated her life to her husband, family and her Catholic faith.
Donna was an active participant in her children's activities, including Scouting and substitute teaching at Immaculate Conception School. She loved cooking and baking, and her special holiday treats will be remembered by her family. Her grandchildren cherished time spent with her, and the memories made.
Donna is survived by 4 children, Jerome (Maria) Shircel of Clarksville TN, Barbara (Ken) Luedke of Sheboygan Falls WI, Linda (Duane) Steen of Sheboygan WI and Theresa (Ron) Zimmermann of Kiel, WI. She is further survived by her 11 grandchildren; Erica (Scott) Doyle, Ethan Shircel, and Cyril Shircel, Nicole (Robin) Reese and Lisa (John) Richards, Elizabeth (Peter) Tait, Emily (Gregory) Melin, Sarah, and Benjamin Steen, and Luke and Jackie Zimmermann, 10 great-grandchildren; Maria Isabella, Lance, Zachary, Donna, Shamus and Murphy Doyle, Brooklyn, Taryn and Noah Reese and Levi Melin, brother-in-law Jerome Rammer, sisters-in-law Adele Stielow, Caroline Shircel, Agnes Schuster, Margaret Kiefer and Helen Shircel, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Walter Stielow and Betty Rammer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Reverend Paul Fliss will be the Celebrant. The family will receive visitors at the church from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. , followed by a Rosary Service at 10:45 A.M. Donna will be laid to rest at Immaculate Conception Cemetery beside Cyril.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
