Diane Sharon LeClair

Diane Sharon LeClair, age 71, passed away at her residence on February 8, 2024.  She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on May 21, 1952 to the late Phillip and Rose Marie (Leszewski) LeClair.  She earned her Associates Degree, and worked for many years in Wood and Sheboygan Counties as an administrative assistant.

Growing up on a Naval base, Diane learned about service before self, and the importance of giving back.  She was very proud of her father’s Navy service, and would share stories with her family about their travels to Hawaii and Virginia. She never failed to let her family know how much she loved them, always fighting for them and for what was right in her community.  Diane was a talented sewer, making her own wedding dress and her daughter’s prom dress.  Her family will always remember her baking skills, her love for all things sweet, her adoration of animals, and for her virtuous heart and soul.  

Diane is survived by her children; Ginny (Thomas)Wassink and their children Ethan and Ben (Sam), and grandchildren Emma and Addie; Shawn Brandt, and his children Victor (Bridget) Brandt and their child Zoe, and Ariel; Holly Brandt and her children Monique Brandt, Bella Lusty (Jeremiah) and their child Zebediah, Emily and Lauren Harris. She is further survived by her siblings Phillip (Dawn) LeClair and Wendy (Michael) Fait.

Along with her parents, Diane is preceded in death by Auntie Joanna Millane.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Sheboygan County Humane Society.
