Dennis A. Dohms, age 53, of Sheboygan passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, surrounded by his family with his loving wife by his side.
He was born on December 12, 1967, in Sheboygan, to Daniel and Diane (Kaboord) Dohms. He graduated from North High School and then attended UW Parkside. In the fall of 1992 Dennis opened Great Lakes Blueprinters in Sheboygan. On October 3, 2015, Dennis married Melissa Valitchka and together had their pride and joy Alexis Mae. Charlie, their rescue dog, completed their family in April of 2020.
Dennis was a devoted protector, extremely proud father and supportive husband. He was best known for being fun loving, compassionate and overall, a loyal man and friend that everyone loved to be around or have a conversation with.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife Melissa; daughter Alexis; parents, Daniel and Diane Dohms; siblings, David (Jane) Dohms and their children Spencer (Jacqueline) Dohms and Haley (Jarrett) Diedrick and Doreen (Garrett) Westera and their daughter Ashlin; father and mother-in-law Francis and Margaret Valitchka; sisters in-law and brother-in-law Mary (Tim) Carey, Amy (George) Gibson, Brian (Brenda) Valitchka and their children Amanda, Eleanor and Henry Gibson; Kate and Michael Valitchka; and Rosalind, Grace, and Luke Carey.
He was preceded in death by many loving family members.
A Funeral Service for Dennis will be held at 1:15 PM on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Road in Howards Grove, with Fr. Bob Lotz officiating. The family will greet visitors on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Dennis's family asks that any memorials in his name be made to Children with Cancer of Sheboygan County, The Sheboygan County Humane Society, or the Shaw Family Playground.
