David A. Diener, 65, of Sheboygan, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, following a courageous battle with several health issues. He was born September 28, 1955 in Sheboygan to the late Fred and Jennie (Chervenak) Diener. He attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan South Class of 1974.
Dave worked in leather manufacturing for over 30 years working for several Wisconsin companies. He was united in marriage to Eileen Siebert on January 6, 2001 in Sheboygan. They had 17 wonderful years together until Eileen preceded him in death on February 9, 2018.
Dave was a lifelong member of St. Mark Lutheran Church where he volunteered for the food pantry for many years. He also served as an advisor for the Sheboygan County Food Bank. Dave enjoyed following and participating in all sports over the years, but golf was his main hobby, and he enjoyed many golf road trips with Eileen over the years.
Dave is survived by his brothers Donald (Kim) Diener of Sheboygan, Dennis (Bev) Diener of Oostburg, and Daniel Diener Sr. of Sheboygan, brothers-in-law Delmar (Barb) Weinhold, Gary (Pat) Weinhold, and David (Rosann) Weinhold and sister-in-law Peg Cadigan. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his beloved wife Eileen and his parents he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Wes Weinhold.
Per Dave’s wishes no services will be held.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the ICU, 3-K, and 2-K of Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center and CICU at St. Luke’s Medical Center for all their care.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sheboygan County Food Bank or Bethesda in Dave’s name.
