May 3, 1960 — February 10, 2025

Sheboygan Falls

Constance “Connie” Wuestenhagen, age 64, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on February 10, 2025. She was born in Sheboygan on May 3, 1960 to Duane and Sandra (Thill) Goetsch. On March 26, 1996, Ernst Wuestenhagen and Constance Goetsch were united in marriage at Bally's Celebration Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

Connie worked at Bemis Manufacturing Company, retiring in April 2022 after 43 years. She enjoyed bird watching, feeding her neighborhood animals and nature, but her cat Culvert was the most precious to her. She enjoyed cheering on her Badgers and Packers from the stands and during get-togethers with friends. She enjoyed listening to live music, with Liquid Crush as one of her favorites.

She was an artist at heart. In fact, she and her family members enjoyed repurposing bowling balls. They used a band saw, rebar, golf balls and a little paint, and created beautiful lady bugs for garden decorations. Finding a good deal at garage sales and collecting vintage jewelry was also a hobby of Connie’s.

Connie is survived by her three brothers, Michael (Dawn) Goetsch, Kevin (Jenn Prange) Goetsch, and Dean (Tracy) Goetsch, her sister Dana Goetsch, her father-in-law Gordon Wuestenhagen, sister-in-law Cynthia (Larry) Meyer, and brother-in-law Dale (Jean) Wuestenhagen . She is further survived by four nieces, Danielle (Eric) Weisenberger, Kwincie (Sean) Mueller, Tiffany (Mark) Bimmel, and Nicole (Brad) Brasser, six nephews, Cody (Caitlyn) Goetsch, Tyler Goetsch, Christopher (Lisa) Schmidt, Joseph (Michelle) Wuestenhagen, Chad Hirsh, and Joey Grunewald, her great-nephews Ozric Weisenberger, Liam, Michael, Nicholas, Mathew and Holden, great-nieces Josslyn Weisenberger, Everyn Mueller, Lana, Lexi, Mila, and Laina, her cat Culvert, good friends Jim and Irene Meyer, Laura (David) Kaiser, and Diane “DZ” (Tim) Zimmerman, and many other relatives and friends.

Connie is preceded in death by her husband Ernst, her mother Sandra (Thill) Goetsch, her father Duane Goetsch, her infant brother Jamie, her cat Shredder, her nephew Matthew Jon Wuestenhagen, her mother-in-law June Erickson, her brother-in-law Steven Schmidt, her step-mother-in-law Roseli Wuestenhagen, and her step-father-in-law Alton Erickson.

The family would like to thank Dr. Chris Hill and his entire staff at Signature Dental for their care and concern for Connie and her family, and the medical teams at Aurora Sheboygan Hospital and Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee for their compassion and support.

Connie will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

A Celebration of Connie’s life will be planned at a later date.
