Colleen Justinger

Colleen D. Justinger, 87, of Howards Grove, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at her home on Friday, September 1, 2017. She was born August 23, 1930 in Sheboygan Falls to Irwin and Agnes (Uelman) McCoy. Colleen graduated with the class of 1948 from Sheboygan Falls High School.
On April 3, 1948, she was united in marriage to Edward R. Justinger at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sheboygan Falls, where Colleen had been baptized and confirmed. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1991. They made their home in Sheboygan Falls and Howards Grove raising a beautiful family of twelve children.
Colleen was an excellent wife and mother, she took great pride in raising her children. She also was a waitress at the Grand Executive Inn for several years. Colleen was an avid bowler, enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, spending time relaxing watching golf, Packers, Badgers, and Brewers, doing puzzles, and watching the birds and animals out her window. In her younger years, she enjoyed the outdoors snowmobiling and gardening. Her true passion in life was her family, she was an excellent cook, baker, and was also known for her canning.
Colleen is survived by her twelve children; Donald (Sandy) Justinger of Sheboygan, Margie Comins of Howards Grove, Dennis (Nancy) Justinger of Howards Grove, Diane (Marvin) Tulla of Dixon, MO, Steve (Raylene) Justinger of Waldo, Joan (Paul) Dingel of Sheboygan, Joyce (Larry) Ladwig of Howards Grove, Darlene (Randy) Duening of Sheboygan, Rodney (Linda) Justinger of Sheboygan Falls, Nancy (Lee) Sixel of Howards Grove, Linda (Bob) Radloff of Sheboygan Falls, and Edward (Brenda) Justinger of Howards Grove, nineteen grandchildren; Scott (Linda) Justinger, Lynn Walquist, Kevin Justinger, Michael (Ann) Comins, Jim (Mary Ann) Justinger, April (Special Friend Kevin) Justinger, Marvin (Julie) Tulla, Jason ( Julie) Miller, Janie (Geoff) Klobucher, Jeremy (Karie) Ladwig, Mindy Ladwig, Jenny Duening, Ryan (Lori) Duening, Sarah (Jipson) Vincent, Daniel (Laura) Justinger, John Radloff, Eric (Samantha) Radloff, Brandon Justinger, and Jessica Justinger, three step-grandchildren; Jody (Jason) Batt, Michael Miske, and Michelle Meissner, thirty-one great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Evonne Weinfurter and Marie McCoy, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 43 years Edward, brothers, Russell and James McCoy, sister Bernice (Al) Heilberger, infant sister Shirley McCoy, son-in-law Stanley Comins, great-grandson Christopher Justinger, and by her in-laws Benjamin and Hildegard Justinger.
A Celebration of Colleen's life will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Zimmer-Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd. Sheboygan. A private burial will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Colleen's name.
