Colin Daniel Sweet, age 34, of Sheboygan passed away of natural causes on October 17, 2022, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. Colin was born June 6, 1988, in Sheboygan to Denise and Daniel Sweet. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 2007.
Colin recently landed his dream job in car sales with Sheboygan Chrysler. He previously had various roles with Van Horn Automotive and Shuff's restaurant. He spent several years with each of these employers and formed lasting friendships with many coworkers. He took great pride in his work.
Anyone who knew Colin knew his love for cars, especially SRT-4s. He was often wearing SRT-4 t-shirts and always pointed the cars out when he was lucky enough to spot one. His interest in cars began at a young age. He could identify cars by age 2, often saying "Mazda" when he saw or heard one. His love for cars followed him into adulthood when he enjoyed entering his meticulously-detailed SRT-4s in car shows, often leaving with trophies.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fixing up lawn mowers and taking lawn mowing jobs on the side. Going "up to the trailer" at Shady Oaks in Markesan with his family was a favorite summer getaway. He was a fan of attending the Plymouth Dirt Track Races. He loved cooking for family, especially spaghetti and chili. He always enjoyed the companionship of cats, including Max, Hemi, Neon, LJ and Nester.
Colin never missed a family get-together. He loved when everyone was together, laughing, reminiscing and playing games. Colin was always in charge of taking the family Christmas Eve video. Within the last two years, his girlfriend Cheryl joined him, and the family saw how happy they were together.
Colin's generosity and care for others’ lives on through tissue donation.
Survivors include mother, Denise (Rick Krueger) Sweet; father Daniel (Jean) Sweet; sister Kirsten (Jim) Schrader; nephew James; girlfriend Cheryl Skoglund; Rick's daughters Amy, Jenny and Vanessa; Jean's children Jon and Stephanie; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jack and Lucy Carpenter and Gerald and Lorraine Sweet.
