Carl Chuck W. Herzog age 76, passed away at home on Friday, July 22, 2016. He was born in Millersville on January 18, 1940 to parents Arwin and Eleanora (Oetling) Herzog. Chuck graduated from Howards Grove High School in 1958. He was united in marriage on October 18, 1966 in Waukegan, IL to Sharon Nauschutz. Chuck retired from the Iron Foundry at Kohler Co. in 2000 after 42 years of service. Chuck enjoyed trap shooting, golfing and going up north to the cabin. Carl is survived by his loving wife Sharon; four children, Brian Herzog, Ruth (Robert) Meyers, Carmen (Mike) Lienau and Paula (Tom) Anhalt; adoring twelve grandchildren; Kayleigh (Ben) Gaedke, Carrie Herzog, Amber (Mike) Dickman, Joseph Schmidt, Darren Herzog, Shaunna (Shane) Olig, Robert Meyers Jr., Tanya Meyers, Josh Lienau, Carly Reif, Emily Reif and Bethany Anhalt; four great-grandchildren, Brianna, Allie, Lily, Brinleigh and one on the way; three sisters, Elaine Rautmann, Shirley (Don) Reinemann and Karen Herzog; three brothers, Arwin (Marlyn) Herzog, Eugene (Dorothy) Herzog and Donald (Lois) Herzog; two brothers-in-law, Pete Prange and Karl (Pat) Nauschutz; six sisters-in-law, Cora (Mike) Patnick, Joann Bramstedt, Linda Drexeler, Barb (Bernie) McKichan, Becky (Paul) Schlegel and Mary Herzog; mother-in-law, Eda Nauschutz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carl is preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, Paul Nauschutz; two sisters, Marion Prange and Jane Schmidt and one brother, Robert Herzog; brothers-in-law, Merlin Rautmann, Jeanold Schmidt, Ronald Bramstedt, Robert Damrow and Steve Drexeler. The family would like to thank St. Nicholas Hospice and Matthews Oncology for their care and support. Private committal at St. Paul's Church Cemetery, Sheboygan Falls.
