Bryant Wick

Bryant J. "Blackie" Wick, 92, of Howards Grove, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 at home. He was born October 31, 1923, in Town Schleswig, to the late Henry and Clara (Silbernagle) Wick. Blackie served his country in the United States Army during World War 2, from 1942 until 1945, before being honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. His tour included Hawaii, New Guinea, the Philippines and Japan.
On January 21, 1978, he married the former Gloria Schwartz.
Blackie was employed by General Motors in Milwaukee and George J. Meyer Manufacturing, formerly of Cudahy, before being employed by Hayssen Manufacturing in Sheboygan until his retirement.
In addition to his wife, Gloria, he is survived by five children, Gary (Kathy) Wick, Florida, Bonnie (Robert) Weston, Germantown, Ricardo Wick, Florida, Randy Wick, Montana and Shari (Michael) Potter, Florida; seven grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald (Bernice) Wick, Alan Wick and James Wick.
