Bonnie Lemke

Bonnie J Lemke, age 77, passed away peacefully at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, WI on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 with her family by her side.

Bonnie was born on March 29, 1943, in Port Edwards, WI to Paul and Betty (Kucirek) Hepp. She was a 1961 graduate of John Edwards High School in Port Edwards. On December 7, 1974, she married the love of her life Nils C. Lemke.

In her early days, she loved being a stay at home mom and spent many years as a Brownie and Girl Scout leader. She retired in 2001 as a Secretary at Horace Mann Middle School in Sheboygan. She was a member of the Sheboygan Yacht Club and an avid fisherwoman. She was very proud to own and operate her own Lake Michigan boat. She was a member of First United Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.

She is survived by her husband, Nils; her daughters, Ann Reinke, Mary Ellen Lemke and Rebecca (Edward) Evenson; her grandchildren, Amanda Barchacky, Trevor Barchacky, Eddie Evenson and Ryan Evenson; her brothers, Chuck (Janice) Hepp and Jim (Marilyn) Hepp; and her sister, Betty (Bob) Burkhalter. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, John.

Bonnie will be laid to rest in Springwater, Wisconsin.

She asked that we give a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Memorial Hospital and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the extraordinary compassion and care they provided.
