Bernice J. Sabrowsky, 85, of Sheboygan, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, surrounded by her family at Pine Haven in Sheboygan Falls. She was born on December 17, 1938 in Sheboygan to the late George and Catherine (Vercouteren) Lubach. She was the youngest surviving member of the family. Bernice graduated from Central High School.
On October 1, 1960 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Sabrowsky at Luther Memorial Church in Sheboygan. The two met in high school.
She had a strong faith and was a member of The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. Bernice enjoyed traveling with Ken, they visited many places. She loved flowering and gardening.
Family was very important to Bernice and she cherished all her time creating memories with them. Bernice was loving, caring and very supportive to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed. Crew had a special spot in her heart.
Bernice is survived by her daughter Cori (Ron) Sommer; son Gary (Inga) Sabrowsky; grandchildren, Monica (Ray) Sommer, Kevin (MacKenzie) Sommer and Maren Sabrowsky; great-grandson Crew Sommer; sister-in-law Doris Lubach and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ken Sabrowsky, her parents and siblings.
Per Bernice's wishes, private family services have been held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Bernice’s name.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Aurora Medical Center, Aurora Hospice, Rocky Knoll and Pine Haven for all their compassion and support.
