Amber Lynn Bruns

December 12, 2000 — April 18, 2025

Sheboygan

Amber “Snookies” Lynn Bruns, age 24, lost her battle with addiction on April 18, 2025. She was born on December 12, 2000 in Sheboygan to Jay Bruns and Carrie Kuehl.

Amber was a beautiful soul who loved music, singing, and horseback riding, and spending time up north at her family cabin. Her family will always remember her beautiful singing voice, and her fun and silly personality. She recently succeeded in completing treatment at CORE Treatment Services in Manitowoc, earning her 30, 60, and 90-day chips. Arvell Edwards and Lily Gullickson were her biggest supporters through treatment up to the time of her passing. She had maintained her sobriety for four months. Her family and friends will always be grateful for her days of sobriety that Amber accomplished, as they were able to really spend quality time with her and see Amber happy and peaceful. Amber will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Amber is survived by her parents, Jay (Tammy Mayer) Bruns and Carrie (William) Kuehl, her siblings Emily Bruns, Jordan and Avery Kuehl, and her grandparents Carol Kraus of Sheboygan and Tim Kraus of Sterling, Colorado. She is further survived by her Aunties Carla (Danny Amiot) Butzen and Heidi Bruns, both of Sheboygan, and her Uncle Timmy (Krista) Kraus of Galveston, Texas, as well as many other Cousins, Great Aunts and Uncles, and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents LeRoy “Papa” and Sandra “Nana” Bruns, and her Uncles Steve Bruns and Mikey Kraus.

Burial will be private.

Her family will be forever grateful to Manitowoc CORE Treatment Services, and the entire sobriety community, especially her friends from Sheboygan that supported her in her journey. The family wants nothing more than those that struggle with addiction to persevere and win the battle against this horrible disease. One day at a time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CORE Treatment Services in Manitowoc.
